Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
ADHD Access Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 91 700 119 160), trading as ADHD Access Telehealth ("we", "us", "our"), respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information, including health information, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and any state or territory health records laws that apply.
1. What information we collect
When you contact us through this website, we collect the details you choose to give us:
- your name, email address and (optionally) mobile number
- who you are enquiring for (for example, yourself, a family member, or as a health professional)
- your state or territory (optional)
- anything you write in the message box
Please don't include medical details in a website enquiry. We'll discuss those with you privately.
If you become a patient, we will also collect health information needed to provide you with safe care. This may include your medical history, medications, referrals, assessment results, Medicare and contact details, and information from your GP or other treating practitioners (with your consent or as permitted by law).
You can make a general enquiry without giving your full name. However, we can't provide a medical service anonymously.
2. How we collect it
We collect information directly from you: through our website form, by email, by phone, and during telehealth appointments. With your consent, we may also receive information from your referring GP, other health practitioners, or a parent or guardian.
3. How we use it
- to respond to your enquiry and let you know about our services
- to assess, treat and support you if you become a patient
- to communicate with your GP and other treating practitioners about your care
- for billing, Medicare and administration
- to meet our legal, professional and insurance obligations
- to improve the quality and safety of our service
We will only use or disclose your information for another purpose with your consent, or where the law allows or requires it.
4. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information. We may share it with:
- your GP and other practitioners involved in your care, with your consent
- Medicare, pharmacies and pathology providers, where needed for your care
- trusted service providers who help us run our practice, such as our website host, form and email providers, and clinical and booking software. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
- government bodies, regulators, our insurers or legal advisers, where the law requires or permits it
5. Overseas storage
Some of our service providers store or process data outside Australia. Our website is hosted by Vercel and website enquiries are sent using Web3Forms (both of which may process data in the United States and other countries), and our email is provided by Google Workspace. We take reasonable steps to make sure these providers protect your information in a way that is consistent with the APPs. Clinical records are kept in our practice management system.
6. Website, cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't currently use website analytics. Like most websites, our host and the fonts we use (Google Fonts) may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser type when you visit. If we add analytics in future, we'll update this policy.
7. How we keep it secure
We store information in secure, access-controlled systems and use reasonable physical, technical and administrative safeguards to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Health records are kept for as long as the law requires, and then securely destroyed or de-identified. Enquiries that don't lead to care are deleted when they are no longer needed.
If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
8. Marketing
If you've agreed to hear from us, we may send occasional updates about our services. You can opt out at any time by replying to let us know or emailing info@adhdaccess.com.au.
9. Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see, or correct, the personal and health information we hold about you by emailing info@adhdaccess.com.au. We will respond within 30 days. In limited cases the law allows us to refuse access; if so, we'll explain why. We may charge a reasonable fee for providing copies of records, but never for making the request.
10. Questions and complaints
If you have a question or concern about privacy, please contact us first:
Email: info@adhdaccess.com.au
We aim to respond to complaints within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
